Overview

The world of lighting design is changing rapidly. In addition to continuous advancements in lighting technologies, the codes and laws governing the design and construction of lighting systems are undergoing progressive improvement. New laws, new DoB filing requirements, and stricter codes now apply to almost all spaces in New York City.

Green Light New York has developed a concise and vital three-part series of presentations on how to meet and exceed these new lighting requirements. Offered in 90-minute segments, the presentations cover 1) the laws and regulations themselves, 2) strategies for applying the new requirements to lighting retrofit projects, and 3) demystifying lighting controls. The courses have been developed with the assistance of an extremely knowledgable advisory group and have been very well received.
