Overview

The Building Energy Exchange launched the Women in Sustainability and Energy (WISE) series in 2015. In just two years, this program series has received overwhelming enthusiasm and support - over 800 professionals attended our 9 events and thousands more were engaged through social media.

The program series has featured women professionals from across the energy and sustainability fields. The 26 women showcased to-date have done it all. They have accelerated and pioneered sustainability programs in the government and in private companies, they have built successful startups, they have spearheaded social justice campaigns, and they have made their way to the top of their teams in an overwhelmingly male-dominated field.

The WISE series not only showcases women leaders, but it also serves as a networking forum and framework for year-round dialogue for both women and men in the sustainability and energy fields. This series provides an opportunity for professionals to learn from industry leaders, share ideas, and advance equality in the workplace.

Dscn0681BE-Ex will continue to organize high-level WISE symposia in 2017. These events will be developed and organized based on attendee interest and will provide ample networking opportunities.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for companies and organizations who are interested in supporting the growth of this series. Please contact Talia Kula at tk@be-exhcange.org for more information. Dscn0901WISE is a project of BEEx and aims to actively engage its community through high-level forums, networking opportunities, and trainings.
