The Building Energy Exchange will be opening a larger, newly renovated, Center, in Fall 2017. In honor of this important milestone, BE-Ex will launch an exhibit celebrating New York City’s leadership in advancing building energy efficiency, and effective climate action.
Celebrate NYC will showcase energy efficient building renovations and retrofits, and will feature upgrades and improvement of existing buildings of all different sizes and purposes throughout New York City. BE-Ex plans to highlight a variety of system upgrades such as lighting, HVAC, envelope, controls, conveyance, and resilience upgrades. All types of buildings throughout New York City’s five boroughs are invited to be represented, including market rate and affordable residential buildings, commercial properties, as well as schools and universities.
The exhibit will launch in congruence with the opening of BE-Ex’s expanded center in late Fall 2017. It will run for 9+ months and will be seen by the thousands of building professionals who visit the Building Energy Exchange Center. All participants will be acknowledged at a celebratory opening event.
