Cleantech Early Adoption Roundtable

NECEC Institute and Green Light New York present the Cleantech Early Adoption Roundtable.

The past decade has seen a notable increase in startupsdeveloping advanced technologies for the built environment. Despite the enormous potential of these technologies, even highly progressive building industry stakeholders face a unique set of challenges when considering implementation. At this invite-only roundtable, real estate executives and cleantech founders will come together to explore these challenges, and analyze examples of successful collaborations with emerging companies.

Developed jointly by the NECEC Institute and Green Light New York, this roundtable will feature two case studies outlining the successful implementation of early stage, energy-saving technologies in Class A commercial spaces. The case studies will delve into the structure of the relationship
between the customer and the startup that enabled the early adoption. In addition, the event will feature presentations from a limited number of cleantech startups looking to break into the mainstream, and a moderated discussion amongst all participants about real and perceived barriers to adoption. By bridging the gap between the purveyors of new technology and established real estate, the roundtable hopes to facilitate further collaboration and create pathways for adoption.
