Building Energy Exchange welcomes new board members, Jay Bozeman and Danielle Spiegel-Field!

 

 

Jay Bozeman is the Global Head of Corporate Real Estate Change at Barclays. Jay’s team handles real estate transactions, design and construction, engineering, and the operation of Barclay’s corporate portfolio and data centers.

Jay has over 25 years of experience in corporate real estate, including time with CBRE supporting client real estate needs and the Bank of America executing real estate strategy in Boston and New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from Georgia Tech.

 

 

Danielle Spiegel-Feld is the Director of Asset Management, Sustainability, at Hines. Danielle provides strategic direction in decarbonizing the firm’s global real estate holdings.

Danielle has taught courses covering the intersection of environmental law and policy at the New York University of Law and the University of Copenhagen. At NYU Law, she led a think tank focused on the decarbonization of cities and conducted research studies for the New York City and State government, including a large-scale study of the costs and benefits of Local Law 97.

Danielle has authored dozens of scholarly articles and published popular writing in leading media outlets, including The New York Times, Crain’s, US News, The Daily News, and others.

Danielle is admitted to the New York Bar and is a member of the board of American Friends of Batsheva. She lives in New York City with her husband Jonathan and sons, Jonah and Reuben.
