The Building Energy Exchange regularly hosts events for other organizations focused on energy efficiency and sustainability. Facilities include a 100-seat classroom with a 150″ projection screen and state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities, a 35-seat conference room with a 70″ LED screen, and over 2,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Where can I submit a request to host my event at the Exchange?

What sort of technology do you support?
We support full A/V capabilities, including live streaming and video recording. Specific devices (e.g. microphones, projectors) vary across rooms. Learn more here.
Is there a cost to host an event at The Exchange?
Yes, rates are available upon request. Annual corporate membership packages include complimentary and discounted room reservations. Nonprofit rates are also available. Please reach out for more information.

Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes, we do. Please indicate your preferred setup in your inquiry (and pay attention to the corresponding capacity).
Can I bring in or schedule catered food and drinks for my event?
Yes, but you must notify us ahead of time and select from our list of approved vendors.
- We are currently working to expand this list to include more caterers that align with our sustainability policy. You will need our written permission in order to use a caterer that is not currently a part of this list.
Single-use plastics, e.g. water bottles, are not permitted. BE-Ex is able to provide water if notified in advance.
A small fee may apply to coordinate with building security.
Post-event: Leftover food scraps can be dropped off at the smart composting bin located on Broadway and Park Place, next to City Hall Park (an easy three-minute walk from BE-Ex).
What is your cancellation policy?
For a full deposit refund, cancellation must be made 30 days prior to the event.
