Big Savings from Big Data in the Big Apple
Join Building Energy Exchange, Bright Power, Sustainable Energy Partnerships, and NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability for their AEA Multifamily Building Conference presentation on Retrofitting Affordability – a report that uses newly available energy data in the New York City multifamily building sector to classify which buildings and energy efficiency retrofit measures have the greatest potential for carbon reduction, and how these benefits relate to affordability and the City’s climate action plan.
The authors and key players in the city’s climate action plan will discuss the broader context of early NYC efforts requiring buildings to benchmark and audit their energy systems, provide an overview of the findings, and outline how this analysis can provide a road map for accelerating retrofits.
PRESENTERS:
Adam Hinge, Managing Director, Sustainable Energy Partnerships
John Lee, Deputy Director for Green Building and Energy Efficiency, NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability
Jeff Perlman, CEO, Bright Power
Richard Yancey, Executive Director, Building Energy Exchange
