Codes for Product Safety & Sustainability

Join IESNYC for Codes and Standards for Products and Application Safety, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.

Gain an appreciation for what types of issues are covered by a predominant array of lighting related codes and standards currently in use. (e.g., in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico).  Three primary areas are covered: Energy Efficiency Codes & Standards, Sustainability Standards, and Product Regulations.

Participants will be able to:

• Identify the governing body associated with the subject codes and standards
• Appreciate the range of lighting covered by any code or standard
• Discuss, with a degree of comfort, the contents of the subject codes and standards for the version covered by this seminar
• Know where to look for more detailed information
