Update as of 9/20/19: Unfortunately, Salesforce will no longer be participating in the panel. In their place, building materials company Kingspan will present on their work with ILFI across a variety of Net Zero Energy projects, including NZE urban infill projects in Dublin, Ireland, and Spokane, WA.
Join the North American Passive House Network (NAPHN), the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), and the Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex) for this Climate Week event on the role of urban, high-density, net-zero-energy projects in meeting the demands of our climate crisis.
Framed by ILFI’s recent work with Kingspan on net zero energy projects and the role of Passive House as a powerful demand reduction strategy, this discussion will illuminate the power of urban zero energy targets to meet both our long-term climate action goals as well as near term targets like New York City’s carbon emissions limits for buildings (LL 97). Featuring large-scale, real world projects, this event will squarely address the challenges we face by offering effective solutions that form a roadmap to equitable and sustainable communities.
