As multifamily building design and construction norms evolve, should the industry reassess what it means to be “high-performance?”

Join Building Energy Exchange and Bright Power online for a presentation and moderated panel discussion  of the Future Housing Initiative, an endeavor to incorporate the resident experience and impacts into how we assess building performance.

The initiative has piloted resident engagement strategies and a health data collection toolkit, and uses this data to establish and illustrate a methodology for assessing a property’s performance based on three distinct variables: Resident Experience, Health Risk, and Energy/Carbon Performance.

Our panel of experts from the project team will dive into topics such as the data collection process, insights and findings, why we should be defining performance in this more holistic way, how this data could impact the industry, and next steps.

This event will highlight the release of the forthcoming Future Housing: A New Paradigm for Multifamily Building Performance report.
