BE-Ex is delighted to announce the promotion of Evana Said from Associate, Educational Resources to Senior Associate, Educational Resources 

Since joining the team in January 2025, Evana has made a remarkable impact in a short time, quickly establishing herself as a critical member of the Educational Resources team. She collaborates seamlessly with fellow teammates, project partners, and clients, contributing thoughtfully and strategically across a wide range of BE-Ex initiatives.

Evana is a key content contributor to numerous projects, including the creation of typology-specific decarbonization playbooks and the development of resources to support difficult-to-decarbonize buildings — such as co-ops and condos — in complying with Local Law 97. Leveraging her technical expertise and graphic design skills, Evana translates asset planning strategies and energy conservation measures into actionable and visually compelling tools that serve industry stakeholders. 

In addition to her work on the Resources team, Evana has supported the Building Performance Partnership (BPP) through the adaptation of resources for partner hubs across the network, extending BE-Ex’s influence nationally. She is also an active contributor to BE-Ex’s Women in Sustainability and Energy (WISE) series, helping to coordinate programming throughout the year and recently leading a WISE Career Showcase.

Evana’s charisma and creativity make her a joy to work with and an invaluable part of the BE-Ex team. Congratulations to Evana! We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished in her first year and are excited to see her continued growth and impact as a Senior Associate.
