BEEx is excited to congratulate Matt Franks & Kenzan Tsutakawa Chinn on receiving IESNYC Lumen Awards of Citation.

IESNYC seeks to improve the lighted environment by bringing together those with lighting knowledge and by translating that knowledge into actions that benefit the public. On June 18, 2015, IESNYC announced the recipients of the 2015 Lumen Awards at the 47th annual Lumen Gala.

Matt Franks, Associate at ARUP, received an Award of Citation for Architectural Feature as a Light Source for his work on the Fulton Center and Sky Reflector-Net. In December 2014, BEEx hosted Matt Franks at the Center to discuss his involvement with this project, one of the largest and most elaborate daylighting installation in the United States. Kenzan Tsutakawa Chinn, Principal Designer at Studio 1Thousand, received an Award of Citation for Light Installation for Starlight, an installation in the Museum of the City of New York. BEEx is lucky to have had Chinn design the beautiful light fixture located in our Board Room. See the photo below.

Congratulation, Matt and Kenzan, on this well-deserved honor!
