Pat Sapinsley, a BEEx Board Member, was named the new Managing Director of the Cleantech Initiatives at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. The CleanTech Initiatives include the school’s sustainability focused incubator and related projects.

In her new position, Sapinsley will oversee the Urban Future Lab – a partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) – focused on innovation in energy, sustainable urban infrastructure, water, transportation, waste, and air quality. Additionally, she will play an important part in NYU’s role in PowerBridgeNY, a New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) sponsored center that leverages clean energy research and innovation to create more and stronger businesses in New York state.
