SOM offices around the world turned off the lights on June 20 in observation of Daylight Hour, an initiative to promote energy conservation. Green Light New York, the event organizer, awarded SOM with the titles of Big Kahuna and Daylight Empire for greatest total area and distance between offices. Read more here.
