Women in Sustainability and Energy (WISE), founded in 2015, is a Building Energy Exchange lecture series and networking forum showcasing women leaders in the sustainability and energy industries. The series provides an opportunity for emerging professionals to learn from industry leaders, share ideas, and advance equality in the workplace.
In just five years of WISE programming we have:
- held 23 panels, keynote programs, and networking events;
- featured 50+ women leaders;
- welcomed 1,500+ attendees at WISE events;
- made 500,000+ impressions on social media
While our live programming is temporarily on hold, we are excited to announce the launch of the WISE Media Club—a virtual forum for discussing thought-provoking books, videos, podcasts, and more, covering topics such as the built environment, climate action, and the unique challenges facing the post-COVID world. See here for details about our first Media Club event, on April 21, 6:00-7:00pm. Future WISE Media Club virtual gatherings will be on the third Tuesday of each month. Stay tuned for these events as well as additional virtual WISE programming.
