Better Steam Heat: Upgrades & Incentives

Join the NYC Retrofit Accelerator, Building Energy Exchange, and National Grid for an educational forum on steam system solutions that reduce overheating, quiet clanging pipes, and lower operating costs. Hear from panelists who recently completed steam system upgrades, and learn about financial incentives offered to help you make these improvements.

A panel of building decision-makers and industry experts will discuss two recently completed steam heating improvement projects, and will answer questions from the audience. Panelists will discuss how they designed and implemented their scopes of work, which included cleaning and tuning boilers, balancing steam distribution vents, replacing radiator valves, and installing smart boiler controls and temperature sensors.

Representatives from National Grid, Con Edison, NYSERDA, and the NYC Retrofit Accelerator will also be on hand to discuss available resources to help building decision-makers get started with these steam system upgrades.
