Beyond Zero Series

The Beyond Zero series celebrates clean and resilient buildings, and climate-friendly homes. These sessions discuss design strategies across the State of New York that improve the health, affordability, and resiliency of communities.

The Beyond Zero educational series will highlight successes, strategies, incentives, and goals for accelerating building decarbonization and optimizing carbon neutral design and construction.

Many of the projects featured in this series are awardees of two NYSERDA programs: the $40 million Buildings of Excellence competition, which advances the design, construction, and adaptive reuse of cost-competitive, climate-friendly buildings; and the Carbon Neutral Community Economic Development Program, which supports economic development projects aligned with the State’s climate goals.

For more on the Buildings of Excellence competition, revisit our Buildings of Excellence Series gallery talks (2019-2021).
