About the Event

Visit the Building Energy Exchange to see the “state of the shelf” controls, fixtures, and shading technologies that are being tested in the Living Lab Demonstration Project. This exhibit seeks to identify the most cost-effective control systems for retrofits, and the tools and processes that ensure their successful implementation. These lighting systems provide the highest quality interior environments by responding to the impact of daylight, occupancy of the space, electricity demand, and the various needs of the users.

This exhibit looks beyond simple energy savings to outline processes and provide resources that ease installation, calibration, and maintenance. This hands-on-experience will help real estate professionals, service providers, and designers better understand how to implement advanced lighting control retrofits and how to quantify their benefits.
