In this new two-part series focused on building decarbonization, NYSERDA and BE-Ex have called upon industry experts to highlight projects deploying breakthrough heat recovery solutions across the commercial and multifamily buildings sector. Developed as part of the Empire Building Challenge (EBC), these events continue our High Rise Low Carbon series and will feature innovative strategies for heat recovery deployed by the award-winning partners of this flagship New York State program.

Participants will also learn how they can apply these solutions to their own projects, leveraging programs in New York.

Take the Heat! Part 1: Geo & Wastewater will showcase approaches to wastewater heat recovery and geothermal heat projects in New York City. The session will include presentation and discussion by two EBC partner teams: Amalgamated Housing Cooperative, with EN-POWER GROUP and Egg Geo; and Tishman Speyer, with Jaros, Baum & Bolles Consulting Engineers and Brightcore.
