On December 11, the New York Power Authority (NYPA), the largest state power organization in the United States, and the Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex), a non-profit dedicated to reducing the effects of climate change by improving the built environment, celebrate the launch of a new exhibit highlighting NYPA’s NY Energy Manager.

The NY Energy Manager provides digital energy management services and is one of many initiatives NYPA has designed to fulfill its mission of providing customers with innovative energy infrastructure and services.

“The Building Energy Exchange is excited to launch this new exhibit,” said Richard Yancey, Executive Director of the Building Energy Exchange. “It is great to see NYPA’s NY Energy Manager help building professionals improve the performance and reduce the environmental impact of their portfolios. BE-Ex is eager to inspire our audience – thousands of architects, engineers, building owners, managers, and contractors – by sharing this story.”

“NYPA’s New York Energy Manager uses advanced data analytics to help thousands of New York State buildings better manage their energy usage and reduce costs,” said NYPA President and CEO Gil C. Quiniones. “The statewide, innovative energy management system shows NYPA’s technological leadership and moves us one step closer to becoming the nation’s first all-digital utility.”

A public launch party at the Building Energy Exchange center will accompany the unveiling of this new exhibit. This event will feature presentations by NY Energy Manager customers as well as a panel conversation with time for questions. This event will be open to the public; registration details can be found at https://be-exchange.org/simplified-sustainable-savings-an-inside-look-at-nypas-ny-energy-manager/.
