In collaboration with Building Energy Exchange, the NYC Lighting Council Committee of the NYC Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNYC) will present a straightforward review of the 2020 New York City Energy Conservation Code: What is new, how to follow it, and ways to make it work for your lighting project.

Join us for this online, accessible seminar and learn the fundamentals of the current NYC energy code. By the end of the session, attendees will understand the basic components of the energy code, paths to follow for compliance, lighting power densities and control requirements, and how code decisions impact the lighting design process. Expert panelists will present tips, snippets, and recommendations on the various approaches to dealing with the energy code as it applies to different types of lighting projects, followed by a question & answer session with the audience.
