Join us for this online, accessible seminar and learn the fundamentals of the current NYC energy code. By the end of the session, attendees will understand the basic components of the energy code, paths to follow for compliance, lighting power densities and control requirements, and how code decisions impact the lighting design process. Expert panelists will present tips, snippets, and recommendations on the various approaches to dealing with the energy code as it applies to different types of lighting projects, followed by a question & answer session with the audience.

The NYC Lighting Council (NYCLC) is a committee within the IESNYC and serves as an information source and champion for issues involving the use of lighting in and about the New York Cityscape. The NYCLC provides web-based resources (Lighting311.org) for the public and serves as a forum and reference for lighting professionals.
