1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Join us for our next episode of Radio BE-Ex with Stas Zakrzewski, AIA, LEED AP, Principal at Zakrzewski + Hyde Architects, for a discussion about decarbonizing buildings at any scale: from embodied carbon of building materials, to Passive House design, to encouraging a circular economy in the building sector.

During his professional career in architecture, Mr. Zakrzewski has been an influential figure in building decarbonization through policy and innovative and sustainable design techniques. In addition to his role as a co-founder and Principal at Z+H Architects, he has been heavily involved with advising the 2016 and 2020 New York City Energy Codes, is a board member for New York Passive House, and is on the advisory board for New York City’s Local Law 97: an ambitious and building-focused centerpiece of the Climate Mobilization Act.

Radio BE-Ex is a live podcast series by Building Energy Exchange that features industry leaders working at the intersection of buildings, energy, and sustainability. The Radio BE-Ex theme for 2021 is Radical Scale: the people, processes, and technology that will ensure the built environment meets the needs of the future.

Radio BE-Ex is made possible across 2021 through the generous support of National Grid.
