BE-Ex welcomes new Special Projects Associate Nicol La Cumbre-Gibbs to the team!
Nicol was born to Irish and Guyanese parents and raised in London, England. Her lifelong fascination with nature and storytelling inspired her to move to the US to study Environmental Science and History at Skidmore College. Since then, Nicol has been involved with building code research and environmental justice work, having spent the past two years teaching Environmental Science at a local high school. In her spare time, she loves to sing and try out new recipes, often at the same time.
