With support from the Natural Resources Defense Council, and in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice and the NYC Accelerator, the Building Energy Exchange’s CMA series demystifies the components of the Climate Mobilization Act and connects our community with relevant solutions.
Women in Sustainability & Energy (WISE)
The Women in Sustainability and Energy (WISE) series, founded in 2015, is an inclusive platform for all people to learn from experienced women leaders, to share knowledge, and to advance equity in the workplace.
High Rise / Low Carbon
The High Rise / Low Carbon Series highlights NYSERDA’s Empire Building Challenge and the commitments of the Challenge Partners. The series is designed to inspire action among New York’s building industry stakeholders and invite the world’s top solution providers to join New York on its journey toward a low-carbon future.

Beyond Zero
The Beyond Zero series celebrates low carbon projects across the State of New York that improve the health, affordability, and resiliency of communities. A multi-year effort across 2021-2022, the Beyond Zero educational series will highlight successes, strategies, incentives, and goals for accelerating building decarbonization and optimizing carbon neutral design and construction.
Buildings of Excellence Series
In partnership with NYSERDA, Building Energy Exchange hosted a series of gallery talks dedicated to the Buildings of Excellence competition, a NYSERDA program recognizing low and zero-carbon emitting buildings throughout New York state. These gallery talks showcased award-winners and their design strategies to reach net-zero building performance.
Celebrate NYC
Celebrate NYC—a program series sponsored by National Grid—showcased some of the most prominent energy efficient building renovations and retrofits included in the Celebrate NYC exhibit, which was on display at the Building Energy Exchange from April 2018 through December 2019. This series delivered topical events covering a diverse range of system upgrades, project sizes, and retrofit financing methods.
